✓ 100% Client-Side Processing
All regex patterns, test strings, and match results are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to our servers.
What data we collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not have accounts, logins, or user databases. We do not track your regex patterns or test strings.
Local Storage
Your regex history is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. It is automatically purged after 30 days. You can clear it at any time from the sandbox toolbar.
Share Links
When you use the Share feature, your workspace state (pattern, flags, test string) is compressed and encoded entirely in the URL query string on the client side. This data travels only when you explicitly share that URL with someone.
Analytics
We may use privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics (e.g. Plausible) that does not collect personal data or build user profiles. No third-party advertising trackers are used.
External links
This site contains links to external services (GitHub, NPM, before.run, saas.garden). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
